Fatal crash closes roadway in Tacoma Tideflats area Saturday amid investigation
UPDATE 11:28 a.m.: The road is reopened.
A fatal car crash was reported Saturday morning in Tacoma.
Tacoma Police issued a traffic alert on social media as a result of the crash. Marine View Drive was closed between Taylor Way and Norpoint Way for the two-car crash in the 1900 block of Marine View Drive.
The accident resulted in a fatality.
Police photos from the scene appeared to show one of the damaged vehicles near Jesse Engineering Co.
An investigation team was on scene. No further details were immediately available.
