A Washington State Patrol trooper and three other people received minor injuries Friday afternoon when their vehicles collided on state Route 410 near Buckley.
The WSP said both vehicles were eastbound around 5:25 p.m. when the trooper, driving a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, made a U-turn to overtake a traffic violator. The driver of a 2007 Toyota Camry attempted to go around the trooper’s car, and the cars collided.
Both drivers and two passengers in the Camry were reported injured. Two people were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw. They were released following treatment.
The road was blocked for more than an hour following the accident, which was under investigation.
