Here are some Tacoma spots to watch the US match Wednesday in the Women’s World Cup
Soccer fans have gathered across the country to cheer on the U.S. Women’s National Team as it takes the stage in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and Tacoma fans will be able to do the same this week.
The Women’s World Cup kicked off on Thursday, July 20, in host countries Australia and New Zealand.
The USWNT took on Vietnam in its first match on Friday, July 21, and won 3-0. The team will face the Netherlands in its second match on Wednesday, July 26, at 6 p.m.
Here are some places around Tacoma hosting USWNT watch parties Wednesday:
Emerald Queen Casino
OL Reign is hosting multiple watch parties around the state throughout the Women’s World Cup, one of which will be at EQC Event Center. EQC and Seattle FIFA World Cup 26, Seattle’s World Cup 2026 organizing committee, partnered to present the USWNT watch party at 5 p.m.
The event is family friendly and free. People under the age of 21 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will be required to enter through the EQC valet area.
People will also have an opportunity to win free OL Reign FC and Seattle Sounders FC merch.
Doyle’s Public House
Doyles Public House, a pub located in the Theater District, will host a watch party at 6 p.m.
Entrance to the pub is free and is open to those 21 and up.
Doyle’s Public House will show more of the World Cup matches. A full list of games that will be shown is on its website.
The Mill by Jack & Adeline
The Mill by Jack & Adeline at 515 6th Ave., a wine bar in Tacoma, will host a watch party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
There will be burgers and hot dogs available for purchase from That Hawaiian Burger Joint.
