Man found shot in Parkland later dies at area hospital, Pierce County deputies say
A 41-year-old man died at an area hospital Saturday night after he was found shot at a Parkland address, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
About 10 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a reported shooting at the Concordia Arms Apartments in the 100 block of 129th Street South in Parkland.
Deputies found one man down in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. They searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects, according to a news release.
Detectives and forensic units also were called out to investigate and speak to witnesses, according to the release.
Meanwhile, the victim died from his wounds at the hospital about 11:45 p.m.
