P!nk cancels this week’s Tacoma Dome shows. Here’s why

Pop singer P!NK, who was scheduled to perform two shows at the Tacoma Dome this week, has canceled both performances, she announced late Monday afternoon.

“I am so sorry to to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed,” P!nk posted on her Instagram feed. “Family medical issues require our immediate attention.”

The Dome said in a statement that new dates would be scheduled. P!nk said she’s working with Live Nation to schedule them.

“All tickets will be honored for the new dates once announced,” the Dome said on Facebook. “More information will be posted on the Tacoma Dome website and emailed to ticket holders directly when available.”

The Oct. 17 and Oct. 18 shows were part of P!nk’s fall tour following the release of her ninth studio album, TRUSTFALL.

Alternative rock band GROUPLOVE and hip-hop group KidCutUp were also scheduled to perform.

Since P!NK’s debut in 2000, she has won three Grammy Awards and sold over 60 million albums equivalents worldwide.

“I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused,” P!nk said Monday.
