Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, and with only 24 days until Christmas, it is time to get into the holly jolly spirit of the season. That includes getting a Christmas tree, for many people.
Although many Christmas decorations have been on sale since the beginning of November and possibly earlier, fresh and natural Christmas tree season has only recently begun.
If you’re one of those people who prefers a natural Christmas tree over a plastic one and live in or near Pierce County, then you’re in luck. There are multiple tree farms in the area that offer a variety of Christmas trees options.
The following tree farms allow you to cut your own tree, or select a tree from their pre-cut options.
U-cut tree farms in Pierce County
Tacoma:
Double 4 tree farm gives customers the option to select and cut their own tree or to choose from their pre-cut selection. This farm also has holiday wreaths for sale along with other accessories such as tree stands, tree preservative and tree bags.

▪ Glennwood Christmas Tree Farm
Field cutting at the Glennwood Christmas Tree Farm is no longer available, but they still have a selection of pre-cut trees to choose from. The farm offers hot cocoa, coffee and cookies to enjoy as customers look for their tree.

The u-cut fields at the Holiday U-Cut Christmas Trees farm are no longer open, but the farm is still offering a variety of fresh pre-cut trees. The farm also has other things for customers to enjoy such as a gift shop, Santa letters and hot spiced cider.

The Shining Star Tree Farm offers a wide variety of trees to choose from and customers will still be able to choose and cut their own tree through the end of the first week of December. This farm also has a All things Noel Christmas store and a free musical night show for customers to enjoy.

The Honeytree Farm offers a wide selection of Christmas trees to choose from this holiday season. The farm will remain open until they run out of pre-cut trees. The Honeytree Farm also sells wreaths and honey and offers free hot cocoa and candy canes. Santa Claus also makes an appearance at the farm on weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m..
