Photos with Santa Claus are a big part of the holiday season, and who says that your furry friends should be left out of the festivities? Christmas is only 11 days away, but there is still enough time to get your pets a free photo with Santa Claus before then.

Petsmart, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s are all offering free pet photos with Santa Claus this holiday season.

Before booking your photo session with Santa Claus, its important to take into consideration whether your fur babies do well around other people and other pets. If your fur baby is a bit more anxious or shy in public spaces, it might be best to skip this and set up an at home Christmas photoshoot.

If you’re pet is camera ready, here are some locations in Pierce County offering free pet photos.

Where can I get photos of my pet with Santa Claus?

▪ Petsmart

Petsmart is hosting its Paws & Claus Photo Event at several participating stores, including five stores in Pierce County. Petsmart welcomes the family to join their fur baby in taking a free photo with Santa. Photos can be taking on a personal device or on a store device. If you choose to have your photo taken with a store device, you will receive your photo via email.

Reservations are not required, but Petsmart recommends that customers interested in a free pet photo with Santa make an appointment online. Walk-ins may be accommodated if time permits.

When: Saturday, December 16 and Sunday December, 17, noon- 3 p.m.

▪ Bass Pro Shops

Bass Pro Shops is also offering family portraits with Santa Claus and because this store is pet-friendly, your furry babies can also join in on the holiday fun. Reservations can be made online at the Bass Pro Shops website. All pets must be on a leash.

Bass Pro Shops is offering one free photo free 4×6 print to all participants, and additional copies are available for purchase.
