As we approach spring, South Sound residents can expect winter to linger a little longer this week.

There is a chance of rain and snow showers before 10 a.m. on Saturday, then rain will be likely. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 44 degrees on Saturday. Then at night, it will be a low of 34 degrees with a chance of rain before 10 p.m. There is also a chance of some snow, according to the National Weather Service.

On Sunday, there is a chance of rain and snow before 10 a.m. There will most likely be rain in the day time with a high near 46 degrees. At night, there is a chance of rain showers before 10 p.m., and some possible snow. Little or no snow accumulation is expected, The NWS says.

There is a chance of rain and snow showers before 10 a.m. on Monday, and rain is likely. It will mostly be cloudy, with a high near 46. Monday night will have a low of 34 degrees with rain likely before 10 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow.

On Tuesday, there is a chance of rain and snow before 10 a.m., then rain during the daytime. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 46 degrees. Expect a slight chance of showers before 10 p.m. with a low around 32 degrees, The NWS says.

On Wednesday there is a slight chance of rain and snow between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Then, there is a slight chance of rain after 4 p.m. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 46 degrees. Later there is a slight chance of rain showers before 10 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow showers. It will also be a low around 35 degrees.

There is a chance of rain and snow on Thursday. It will mostly be cloudy, with a high near 47. At night, there is a slight chance of rain and snow, with a low around 37 degrees, the NWS says.

On Friday, there is a slight chance of rain and snow. It will mostly be cloudy, with a high near 51 degrees, the NWS says.
