A crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 5 in Federal Way has caused traffic to back up into Fife Saturday afternoon.

The current backup is about three miles long on I-5 northbound just south of state Route 18 near South 356th Street. The right two lanes are blocked, the Washington State Department of Transportation reported at 1:36 p.m.

Medical aid, fire assistance and the Washington State Patrol are on the scene.

There are no reported injuries and tow trucks are on their way to the crash scene, WSP Trooper Rick Johnson said.
