- Salary: $100,897.82 - $129,868.75, annually

- Description: The candidate for this position will have to build an environment that encourages teamwork, respect and fairness while also supervising a team to ensure high-quality work. This person will be tasked with carrying out several administrative tasks such as determining work procedures, conducting performance evaluations and assisting with the preparation and review of various codes.
- Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, engineering, public administration or a related field as well as three years of experience in supervision in technical review, permit coordination, code enforcement, or inspection administration.

- Type: Full time, remote/ hybrid
- Salary: $112,078.17 - $151,343.22, annually

- Description: This person will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analyses and also directing and managing a team that creates and plans Pierce County’s biennial budget. The budget and performance manager will also have to ensure that the adopted budgets comply with laws and regulations.
- Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in finance, budgeting, and/or accounting, public/business administration, or a related field as well as six years of experience in governmental budgeting or performance management.
▪ Civil engineer 2 - project review
- Department: Planning and Public Works
- Type: Full time, hybrid
- Salary: $47.16 - $59.72, hourly

- Description: A good candidate for this role will have to have good communication and collaborative skills to ensure daily responsibilities are carried out appropriately. Some of the daily responsibilities include reviewing site development drawings to ensure they are compliant with county regulations, and reviewing land use applications and permits while also communicating with applicants, developers and other stakeholders.
- Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited program in civil engineering, or a closely related field, must be registered as an Engineer-in-Training and have at least seven years of experience in a job related to the position that shows constant progress.

- Type: Full time
- Salary: $97,273.73 - $131,302.01, annually

- Description: The person in this position will handle a high volume of case loads and must prepare written correspondence for each case for litigation. Aside from working on cases, this person will also serve as a mentor to the person that holds the county attorney 1 position.
- Qualifications: Must have graduated from an accredited law school, must also be a member of the Washington State Bar and must have at least three years of legal experience in indignant defense.

- Description: This person will have to create the official record of all sessions of the Superior Court as instructed by the superior judge. The county court reporter is also tasked with rapidly producing transcripts and keeping detailed chronological logs that are in accordance with the Superior Court Clerk’s Office.
