Brush fire burning near Emerald Ridge High School in South Hill

Multiple fire agencies were fighting a brush fire Saturday afternoon near Emerald Ridge High School in South Hill.

East and Central Pierce fire districts, as well as other Pierce County resources, were on scene near 122nd Avenue East. Social media updates from KIRO-TV and fire officials showed plumes of smoke were visible from the school.
