Puyallup police investigate shooting that hurt Pierce County man -- suspects sought
An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg Saturday night and now police are looking for two suspects who ran from the scene of the shooting, according to Puyallup police.
About 10:30 p.m., police were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 700 block of 43rd Avenue Southeast after a report of gunshots in the area.
That address is just east of Meridian and between downtown Puyallup and South Hill.
Once there, police found the 18-year-old Pierce County man with a gunshot wound to his thigh. Witnesses reported hearing an argument before shots were fired, according to police. Police also found spent shell casings in the parking lot.
The victim was treated at the scene, then taken to an area hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
Police are now looking for two suspects who ran from the scene. They were described as younger men last seen wearing dark clothing.
Police used a drone and a police dog to try to find the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
