Two Tacoma residents were involved in a rollover crash Saturday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The 52-year-old male driver, who is suspected of driving under the influence, was injured and taken to Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

His passenger, a 48-year-old woman, was not injured, according to the State Patrol.

However, the memo released about the crash shows that though not hurt, she was taken to Tacoma General Hospital.

About 7:20 p.m., the Tacoma residents were headed east on state Route 702 at Kinsman Road, which is northwest of Eatonville.

Troopers say the driver drove off the road, the vehicle then rolled onto its top, hit a power pole and came to a stop.

The road was blocked for two hours, according to the State Patrol.
