Women’s month rally, picket to take place in Tacoma on Saturday. Here’s what’s going on

A rally organized by a grassroots movement will take place Saturday in Tacoma.

The Evergreen Resistance is holding the rally for Women’s History Month at Union Station from 1 to 3 p.m., according to its website. Evergreen Resistance is part of the 50501 movement, which protests the policies and actions of Donald Trump’s presidential administration.

Saturday’s event will focus on standing with women of Palestine, defending immigrant and migrant women and protecting Black, transgender and Native American women, according to the Evergreen Resistance’s website.
