Update: 44-year-old woman found after deputies declared her missing in Spanaway area

Andrea Simmons has been found, according to a Pierce County Sheriff’s post on Facebook.

Deputies are looking for Andrea Simmons, 44, after she was last seen leaving home near Spanaway, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office posted on X Monday morning.

Simmons, a woman with black hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 160 pounds. She was last seen leaving her residence at the 4000 block of 230th Street Court East, which is in Elk Plain, south of Spanaway, and is likely to be in the Spanaway area on foot.

A Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post says Simmons has a mental disability and epilepsy and is not taking her medication.

“She was last seen wearing a pink hat, green sweater, black pants and black boots” as shown in a photo included with the post, the Facebook post says. Anyone who locates her should call 911.
