Car leaves gaping hole after crashing into pizza shop in Frederickson

A car crashed into a Papa Murphy’s pizza shop in Frederickson on Thursday, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue posted on X.

Crews are at 176th Street East and Canyon Road East, according to the post at 3:13 p.m., which showed the car surrounded by shattered glass.

“Fortunately, there were no injuries to the customers inside the pizza shop or the occupants of the vehicle,” the post said.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office has opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
