Update: Crash on I-5 south of Tacoma that blocked traffic lane has cleared
A crash in Tacoma on Interstate 5 southbound has blocked off a lane Saturday afternoon.
The crash near South 84th Street has blocked the right lane, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation Tacoma. It was reported at 2:25 p.m.
The incident was a result of a three-car crash. One person had serious, but non-critical injuries, Washington State Patrol’s Trooper John Dattilo told The News Tribune. No one had to be transported by medical personnel.
Update: The traffic has cleared, according to an updated WSDOT X post.
