Update. Silver Alert for 78-year-old Pierce County woman has been canceled

Update: Linda Ratcliff has been located and the alert canceled, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Original post: A Silver Alert has been issued for a 79-year-old woman who left her South Hill/Puyallup area home Wednesday night.

Linda Ratcliff reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s and left the home in a dark brown 2015 Buick Enclave. She reportedly was seen around American Lake Park in Lakewood. Deputies believe she might also be traveling the Interstate 5 corridor area, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.

A Washington State Patrol alert says she was seen around the park at about 11:30 p.m. She might be unable to return to her home without help.

Ratcliff is 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. The Buick’s Washington license plate is AWR9085, the post said. The WSP alert says she was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt or turtleneck with a yellow cardigan.

Ratcliff’s family is concerned and wants her safe return home. If anyone sees Ratcliff, they are urged to call 911.
