Tacoma man flown to area hospital after Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash
A 57-year-old Tacoma man was injured in a motorcycle wreck Saturday afternoon in Lewis County, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 1 p.m., the man was headed north on state Route 7, just north of the town of Morton, when troopers say he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of his motorcycle and drove off the road.
The man was not wearing a Department of Transportation-compliant helmet, according to State Patrol.
The Tacoma man was injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
