Bonney Lake man dead from motorcycle crash in Pierce County
A Bonney Lake man has died from a motorcycle crash in Pierce County on Wednesday.
The man was driving a 2010 Harley-Davidson north on state Route 165 at Carbonado-South Prairie Road East. The motorcycle went off the road to the right and landed in a ditch at about 6:39 p.m., according to a Washington State Patrol news release.
Daniel Denton, 53, died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet, the release said.
No drugs or alcohol were involved, the release said. The cause was determined as failure to negotiate a curve.
The roadway was blocked for two hours and 17 minutes.
