Suquamish Police searching for 39-year-old man missing, last seen in Tacoma

A Missing Indigenous Person Alert has gone out for Jose Martinez, a 39-year-old man last seen at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma Sept. 15.

The Washington State Patrol issued a notice for an at-risk/missing person on behalf of the Suquamish Police Department Wednesday evening. The alert describes Martinez as 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 195 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing tan Levi pants, a red polo T-shirt, gray Nike shoes and a gray hat that says “SAVAGE.”

Martinez last contacted his family Sept. 17, the notice says. His direction of travel is unknown.

Suquamish Police also posted the notice on their Facebook page, stating that Martinez is a Suquamish Tribe member.

“Last seen in the Tacoma area, share this as far and wide as possible to help bring Jose back on contact with family,” the post said.

Anyone who sees him should call 911.
