‘Adam Ruins Everything’ comedian to speak at Tacoma’s No Kings protest

Adam Conover, a comedian known for his TV show “Adam Ruins Everything,” is scheduled to speak at an upcoming No Kings rally in Tacoma.

Conover will be one of 12 speakers addressing attendees at the rally Oct. 18 at Stewart Heights Park, according to a release from event organizers. His appearance comes as he is scheduled to perform at the Tacoma Comedy Club on Oct. 17 and 18.

No Kings rallies, a series of demonstrations this year that protest President Donald Trump’s leadership, will take place all over Pierce County on Oct. 18 to build on the momentum of previous rallies. A June 14 No Kings rally in Tacoma drew speakers like former Gov. Jay Inslee and Pierce County Executive Ryan Mello.

Here’s a full list of the upcoming rallies in Pierce County:

  • Point Defiance: noon to 2 p.m. at The Defiant Goldfish, 5310 N. Pearl St.
  • Eastside Tacoma: 1-3 p.m. at Stewart Heights Park, 5715 Reginald Gutierrez Lane.
  • Puyallup: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The address is private, interested attendees can learn more by signing up.
  • Lakewood: noon to 2 p.m. at Gravelly Lake Drive outside the Lakewood Towne Center.
  • Gig Harbor: noon to 2 p.m. at The Four Corners, Point Fosdick Drive & Olympic Drive.
