‘Entertainer’s dream’ home for sale in Olympia. See the breathtaking water views
An “extraordinary” home with two kitchens, an indoor swim spa and sweeping views of the surrounding natural wonders is for sale in the Johnson’s Point area of Olympia, a listing said.
The three-story home at 8210 Walnut Road NE is described as an “entertainer’s dream,” with ample room for hosting.
“It’s really a gorgeous, gorgeous home. There’s nothing about it that isn’t beautiful,” Colleen Dutmers, the listing specialist with D2 Home Group and Keller Williams Realty, told The Olympian by phone.
From the home — which is listed for $2.699 million — you can see Dana Passage, the Nisqually Reach, Anderson Island, Mount Rainier and Mount Adams, according to the listing.
Inside, you’re greeted by a custom curved staircase, featuring some whimsical creatures, Dutmers said.
The three-bedroom, 3 ½ bathroom home also includes “vaulted great room, gourmet kitchen with Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, large butler’s pantry with (an) extra full size fridge/freezer, and a second kitchen downstairs,” the listing said.
The home boasts a workout room and indoor swim spa, plus an outdoor hot tub, landscaping, gardens, and fire and water features, according to the listing and Dutmers.
It has about 100 feet of medium-bank waterfront that slopes to the water, per the listing. Bulkhead and new stairs are in place.
An attached three-bay garage comes with an electric vehicle charger, and the home also has a detached RV garage with a studio, half-bathroom and a deck, per the listing.
The RV garage can be turned into living quarters if desired, Dutmers said.
The home was rebuilt from the ground up in 2023 and 2024.
It “was completely taken down to the studs and the floor plan was redone and reworked. Everything is new and totally custom,” Dutmers told The Olympian.
“Everything about (the home) is special. It was done with such quality and love.”
