A man was fatally shot Sunday evening in Tacoma — police investigating
Tacoma police responded Sunday to a fatal shooting in the 5100 block of South 58th Street that left one man dead.
The initial dispatch call came at 6:55 p.m., according to a department statement posted on social media later in the evening.
“Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound,” the statement said.
Lifesaving measures by police and Tacoma Fire Department followed, to no avail. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man had not been identified as of Sunday evening. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
