Motorcyclist dies near Carbonado

A 44-year-old man died Sunday after crashing his motorcycle near Carbonado, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Kenneth Ludwick of Bonney Lake was riding north on state Route 165 when he lost control of the motorcycle on a corner of the road at Carbon River Forest Reserve Road.

The motorcycle hit a power pole, troopers said. Ludwick was wearing a helmet but died of his injuries.
