Driver extracted from vehicle after rollover crash in Tacoma

A driver was extracted from their vehicle Wednesday morning after a rollover crash in Tacoma.

Firefighters were dispatched at 8:36 a.m. to Pacific Avenue and South 43rd Street. The vehicle had rolled onto its roof, Tacoma Fire Department spokesperson Chelsea Shepherd told The News Tribune.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries after they were extracted. Shepherd said information on whether a second vehicle was involved has not yet been determined.

Firefighters were on scene, and people in the area are advised to use caution.

The Tacoma Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash, Shepherd said.
