2 injured, one critically, after T-bone crash on Pierce County roadway

One person is in critical condition after a T-bone crash in the South Hill area Friday morning.

Fire crews were dispatched around 9:40 a.m. at 160th Street near 96th Avenue Court East for the crash involving two vehicles, according to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue on X.

One person suffered minor injuries, the post said. Another person had to be extricated from their vehicle and has critical injuries.

They were both taken to a hospital, the post said.
