Officials investigate shooting in Parkland as potential drive-by
The Pierce County Sheriff’s department is investigating a homicide at the 500 block of 112th Street East in Parkland.
At around 9:03 a.m., deputies arrived at the Terravista apartments parking lot to find an 18-year-old male dead in a vehicle with gunshot wounds, Detective Joshua Mills told The News Tribune.
It appeared to be a drive by shooting, Mills said.
No suspect is in custody. Sheriff’s deputies are actively investigating the incident.
