Tacoma police investigating reports of shots fired Sunday near mall
Tacoma police are investigating multiple reports of shots fired near the Tacoma Mall area on Sunday.
About 11:30 a.m, police were dispatched to the 4500 block of South Steele Street, officer Shelbie Boyd said.
However, police are not sure if the shots came from a passing vehicle or originated from across the street, she said.
Police have checked with area hospitals and no one so far has shown up to an emergency room with a gunshot wound, Boyd said.
“No victims identified yet,” she said.
