1 dies, 1 injured in overnight shooting in Tacoma, police say
One woman has died and another was injured in an apparent shooting in Tacoma overnight, according to police.
About 12:35 a.m., Tacoma police were dispatched to the 100 block of East 91st Street after a report of the shooting.
Once on scene, they found two women who had suffered gunshot wounds.
One woman died at the scene while the other woman was taken to an area hospital with wounds described as non-life-threatening by police.
The shooting is under investigation. No one has been arrested in connection to it, police say.
