If you’re looking for bar trivia in Tacoma, you don’t have to look far.

There are several pubs, dive bars and casual eateries across the city where you can test your smarts and potentially win some prizes, along with bragging rights.

Here’s where to find bar trivia each week night in Tacoma.

Monday

Red Star Taco Bar

Red Star hosts trivia nights Mondays at 7 p.m., partnering with Uneasy Events. You can check Uneasy Event’s Instagram to see previews of each week’s trivia rounds. Red Star’s trivia nights also happen to overlap with Margarita Mondays.

O’Malley’s Irish Pub

O’Malley’s does two rounds of trivia every Monday, one at 7 p.m. and one at 8 p.m.

Miró Tapas

This restaurant and bar serving small plates in downtown Tacoma hosts trivia every Monday at 7 p.m. Teams can be up to six people, and there are gift-card prizes. First-place teams get a $50 gift card, second-place teams get a $25 gift card and third-place teams get a $10 gift card.

Tuesday

Narrows Brewing Proctor

Narrows Brewing hosts trivia every Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. There are five rounds, and teams can be up to eight people. Rounds include general knowledge, current events, music and picture rounds, along with a “red lantern” round, which is chosen by last week’s losers, according to the Narrows website. A $2 buy-in is required, and the winner takes all.

Black Star Pub & Grill

This sports bar near Parkland hosts cell-phone trivia on Tuesdays and Fridays, with gift-card prizes. Trivia stars at 7 p.m.

North End on Pearl

North End on Pearl hosts trivia every Tuesday at 7 p.m., partnering with Uneasy Events, the same trivia company that Red Star Taco Bar works with. Trivia is free to play, and there are gift-card prizes. North End on Pearl also holds Taco Tuesdays alongside trivia.

Kingfisher and Rye Tavern

This bar on Sixth Ave. hosts trivia every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., continuing the tradition from the now-closed Crown Bar, which used to be in the space.

Holy Moly Bar

This cocktail bar hosts trivia every Tuesday at 7 p.m. with rotating themes and prizes. Teams can be between one and four people.

Busy Body

This bar on Sixth Ave. hosts trivia every other Tuesday (i.e., the second and fourth Tuesday of the month). It starts at 8 p.m., and it’s free to play. Topics include music, movies, history and pop culture.

The Forum

This restaurant in downtown Tacoma hosts trivia every Tuesday at 7 p.m., with general trivia, music and picture rounds.

Wednesday

Cider & Cedar hosts bar trivia weekly, plus Early Bird trivia nights.

Cider and Cedar

This cider bar in Proctor holds trivia every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and hosts Early Bird trivia once a month (more on that below).

Doyle’s Public House

Doyle’s hosts old-fashioned pen-and-paper quiz nights every Wednesday at 8 p.m. Teams can be up to six people, and prizes include gift cards and Jameson shots. Doyle’s also hosts trivia on Thursdays (more on that below).

Berliner Beer Hall

This German gastropub hosts trivia Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. Teams can be up to six players, and prizes go to the top three teams.

Sig Brewing Co.

Sig Brewing hosts trivia every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Prizes go to teams in first, second and third place.

Pizza Time Pub

Pizza Time Pub hosts family-friendly trivia every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Rounds include general knowledge, themed picture rounds and music trivia. Prizes go to the top winners.

The Loose Wheel Bar and Grill

This sports bar on Sixth Avenue hosts trivia every Wednesday at 8 p.m., with different themes each week. Some past themes include Star Wars, 2000’s night and video games.

Odd Otter Brewing Company

This brewery in downtown Tacoma hosts trivia nights every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday

Incline Cider House

This cider taproom in downtown Tacoma offers trivia every Thursday at 7 p.m. There’s four rounds of 10 questions each, plus a bonus and wager round. It’s free to play, and there are up to six players per team. There’s a bit of a unique prize system: prizes go to the teams in first, second and second to last place. There also are theme nights occasionally — this Thursday is Emo Night Trivia.

Puget Sound Pizza

Puget Sound Pizza hosts trivia every Thursday at 6 p.m. The trivia is family-friendly, and there are different themes every week. Some past themes include true-crime shows, Harry Potter and Pokémon.

Airport Tavern Music Hall

Airport Tavern hosts trivia every Thursday at 7 p.m. Sign-ups start at 6 p.m. Plus, if you’re feeling musical, karaoke follows trivia every week at 9 p.m.

Farelli’s Pizza

Farelli’s Pizza hosts trivia every Thursday at 7 p.m. Winners receive gift cards.

Doyle’s Public House in Tacoma hosts trivia two nights a week.
