Police are investigating a gas leak in the 40 block of Silver Beach Drive in Steilacoom.

According to a Facebook post from the Steilacoom Department of Public Safety, crews are looking for “a possible struck natural gas line.”

West Pierce Fire & Rescue and Puget Sound Energy are on scene, the post said.

“Nearby impacted residences are being contacted in person,” the release said. “Please avoid the area until the situation is resolved.”
