Love movies? An outdoor film screening series near Tacoma might be worth a drive.

Advertised as “the Seattle area’s best outdoor movie series,” the Outdoor Movies at Marymoor Park series in Redmond offers “entertainment, food trucks and big-screen movies under the stars,” organizers said.

“Load up the blankets and lawn chairs and join us” for weekly showings in July and August, said Epic Events, the production company behind the screening series.

Here’s what to know:

When is Redmond outdoor movie series? Where?

The outdoor movie series kicks off its 22nd season on Wednesday, July 8, at Marymoor Park, 6046 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE in Redmond.

It’s at the north end of Lake Sammamish.

Local food trucks will be on hand, and outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed.

Other highlights include DJs, live music, karaoke, yard games and photo opportunities.

The King County screening series runs through Wednesday, Aug. 26.

Which movies are playing at Marymoor Park in 2026?

In 2026, these movies are screening at Marymoor Park as part of the outdoor movie series, according to Epic Events:

  • July 8: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”
  • July 15: “Mamma Mia!”
  • July 22:“Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle”
  • July 29: “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days”
  • Aug. 5: “Jurassic Park”
  • Aug. 12: “Top Gun: Maverick”
  • Aug. 18: “The Incredibles”
  • Aug. 26: “The Princess Bride”

When do summer movie screenings start?

Start times differ depending on the date, according to Epic Events.

On Wednesday, July 8, and Wednesday, July 15, doors open at 7:30 a.m., with the movie beginning at 9:30.

On Wednesday, July 22, doors open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 9:20 p.m.

Doors also open at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, but the screening starts at 9:15 p.m.

On Wednesday, July 5, doors open at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at 9 p.m.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12; Tuesday, Aug. 18, and Wednesday, Aug. 26, with movie showings starting at 8:45 p.m.

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets for the Outdoor Movies at Marymoor Park series cost $10 per person, plus a $2.50 park fee.

Parking at the venue is free.
