Police are asking for help finding a 72-year-old man who is missing after leaving his Gig Harbor home on foot.

According to a Silver Alert from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Percival was last seen Friday, June 19, around 6 p.m. at his home in Gig Harbor.

He has been known to hitchhike and likely wants to go to Clallam County, the alert said.

Percival has gray hair, brown eyes and is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, according to the release. He weighs about 150 pounds.

Anyone who sees Percival should call 911, the release said.
