New 24-hour pet resort near the airport lets your dog and cat stay together
Nobel Pet Resort is set to open near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport this weekend.
The 40,000-square-foot resort is located less than two miles away from the airport with on-site parking and shuttle services for those whose pets stay overnight. The resort will be open 24 hours a day all year, offering a variety of lodging options, grooming services, and indoor and outdoor play facilities.
The resort was founded and funded by pet hospitality entrepreneur Saqib Nadeem and his husband. Nadeem, who calls himself a “crazy pet parent” to both a dog and cat, has worked in the pet industry for 20 years. Nadeem first founded Paws 4 Paradise Pet Resort in Chicago before moving to Seattle in 2020.
According to Nadeem, Nobel Pet Resort began with a vision of providing pets and pet owners with a new elevated standard of care.
“As a pet parent myself, one of the challenges I had was either things are convenient or they’re nice,” Nadeem told The News Tribune during a media tour of the facility. “I don’t want to compromise on either.”
The pet resort, which is open to both cats and dogs, can occupy at most 150 pets. Dogs stay in private suites with premium beds, while cats enjoy bungalows with vertical play areas, litter boxes, and water fountains. Higher-tiered dog suites, such as the Royal, Crown, and Parlor suites, feature a flat-screen TV for pet-friendly nature sounds and a 24-hour webcam feed accessible to owners. Both dogs and cats from the same family can be accommodated in the Royal Suite as well, per owner requests.
Additionally, pet owners have access to overnight parking for $30 per night. Owners receive round-trip shuttle service aligned with their travel schedules, and they can pick up their pets at any time, even after late-night arrivals, with the help of 24-hour staff.
“You were supposed to be home Tuesday afternoon, your engagement got extended, and now you’re not going to be coming until Friday?” Nadeem said. “We’re here 24/7. No worries.”
According to Nadeem, the resort has seven indoor and outdoor play areas and offers customized play experiences such as its Puppy Play, Senior Comfort, and Noble Social programs, tailored to each dog’s needs.
Nadeem said Noble also has a membership program for frequent guests similar to traditional hotel memberships.
“Noble is about relationships, it’s not about transactions,” Nadeem said. “Our membership model enables us to be able to build those relationships at a deeper level versus you just coming and dropping.”
Noble’s membership includes three tiers, ranging from the Silver Membership for $95 annually to the Platinum Membership at $995 annually. Platinum members receive the highest priority reservations and a dedicated pet concierge called “Pawcierge” available for any specific requests. Non-members are welcome at the resort but must book a minimum three-night stay.
Nadeem added that Nobel Pet Resort will be the fourth pet business to operate on 142nd Street near Sea-Tac as it takes over the former Hillrose Pet Resort. Nadeem said he and his husband hope to take their business to the next level by continuously prioritizing high-quality care for employees, pets, and pet owners over profit.
“We’re the ideal place for people who consider themselves a pet parent, who want nothing but the best for their pets, who are demanding, who have quirks about their pets, who want us to heat their dog food for 17 seconds,” Nadeem said. “... That’s who we are. Bring it on.”
Nobel Pet Resort began taking reservations on July 9. Its grand opening Open House Weekend event is July 11 to 12 from noon to 4 p.m. Reservations and RSVP’s to the opening event can be made online at the Nobel Pet Resort website.
