Dead body found at Puyallup park. Investigators are on the scene

The Puyallup Police Department is investigating a dead body found at Bradley Lake Park on Tuesday.

According to a 2:36 p.m. X post from PPD, police found the body of an adult man inside a tent.

Capt. Kevin Gill, spokesperson for PPD, told The News Tribune officers found the body somewhere between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

There is no threat to the public, the post said, and there are no suspects in the case. The Pierce County Medical Examiner is also on scene.

“This appears to be an isolated incident,” the post said. “We are sharing this information so parkgoers are aware of the police presence they may see in the area. Bradley Lake Park remains open, and we appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as investigators complete their work.”
