A kitten rescued from underneath a parked car, firefighter adopts the kitten.
East Pierce Fire & Rescue saved a kitten trapped under a parked car at Walmart near Bonney Lake last week.
According to a Facebook post from the East Pierce Fire & Rescue, on July 9 responders from Engine 111 arrived at 19205 State Route 410 E., and found a kitten trapped underneath the car. Several bystanders attempted to reach the kitten before crews arrived.
Firefighters removed a tire and raised the vehicle to safely obtain the kitten.
The kitten was transported to Sumner Veterinary Hospital for treatment and was later adopted by one of the Engine 111 firefighters.
