3 displaced in Lakewood mobile home fire

Three people were displaced Friday when a mobile home in Lakewood caught fire.

West Pierce firefighters were called about 1:35 a.m. to the 3300 block of 96th Street South and found smoke and flames coming from a double-wide trailer.

Crews quickly doused the blaze.

All three residents escaped safely on their own. No one was hurt.

A cause was not immediately known.
