Applause
Dr. Keith Dimerjian is retiring. For more than 20 years, he has been my primary care physician.
He always had time to talk and explain why he was recommending a course of treatment. He kept abreast of current trends and studies and wrote prescriptions and recommended treatment accordingly.
He was not ashamed to admit he did not have an answer but always knew who he should refer me to or what test might provide an answer for my complaints.
By his quiet confident manner, he provided comfort and advice to many.
I came to him 10 years ago with a serious headache. He gave me a prescription but talked me into having a CAT scan. The next day I had surgery for a subdural hematoma.
Without his quiet insistence, I would not have gone and might not be here today. I thanked him. He smiled and went back to work. Class has many forms.
He will leave Primary Care Northwest on Oct.1. I encourage those who know him to send him a note of appreciation. This is not something he would expect.
This is just another reason we should let him know that he will be missed.
