Commercial filming to close downtown Tacoma streets

Work on a “top secret commercial” will cause road closures in downtown Tacoma on Sunday and Monday.

The commercial, which will include scenes of a professional driver doing stunts in a truck, is being made by a Los Angeles-based production company.

The scheduled closures are:

▪ 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, between South 15th and 17th streets, from Broadway to South Hood Street.

▪ 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, from South 15th and 16th streets, between Court G and Fawcett Avenue.

▪ 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, South 21st Street between South I Street and the Foss Waterway Bridge.

▪ 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wiley Avenue from East D and L streets.
