Driver, 19, dies after wreck on I-5 in Federal Way

A 19-year-old Federal Way man died Tuesday, a day after he was involved in a Federal Way wreck.

Misael Rosa Rosario died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was taken after the crash about 1:30 p.m. Monday on Interstate 5, near South 304th Street, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers said Rosario was driving south when he hit another vehicle, lost control, crossed the median and crashed with three other vehicles.

The rear half of the teen’s car was ripped away and trapped under one of the other vehicles, an SUV, according to the State Patrol.

Investigators have not yet determined what caused the wreck.

No one else was hurt.
