Pedestrian hit by train in Puyallup
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when hit by a freight train in Puyallup on Friday night, police reported.
The collision occurred about 7:30 p.m. where tracks cross Meridian Street in the downtown area.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Traffic was being re-routed around the accident.
