South Sound residents in need can choose from several Thanksgiving meals being held on or before Thursday.
Auburn
Athens Pizza & Pasta
What: The restaurant will cook a free, traditional Thanksgiving Day meal to serve 1,000.
When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Federal Way
Multi-Service Center
What: Low-income families in the Federal Way School District who are eligible can get Thanksgiving food before the holiday. For more information, call 253-838-6810.
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday (Nov. 23), Tuesday and Wednesday. Also open 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 24.)

Orting Eagles
What: The group will serve a free holiday meal Thanksgiving Day for the public.
When: Noon to 4 p.m.

Puyallup
Saint Francis House
What: A free holiday meal Thursday will be served for the community.
When: 1:30 p.m.

Veterans of Foreign War Post 2224
What: The post will host a free meal for the public Thanksgiving Day. Donations are welcome.

What: The restaurant provides turkey, and guests are asked to bring a dish for a potluck dinner on the holiday.

What: A Thanksgiving dinner will be held for the community Tuesday.

What: A turkey dinner catered by Popeyes will be served Thanksgiving Day, and there will be free clothing and food bank items.
When: 10 a.m. to Noon.

What: A free meal for the homeless will be served Thursday. Everyone is welcome.
When: Noon to 4 p.m.
