Boy, 14, shot at Tacoma apartment complex

A 14-year-old boy suffered a single gunshot wound to the head Monday night in Tacoma, police said.

It doesn’t appear foul play was involved in the incident, which happened about 9:40 p.m. at an apartment near South Mason Avenue and Center Street, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

Crews took him to a local hospital for his life-threatening injury.

Police are investigating.
