Missing Tacoma woman found safe in city

Police said a Tacoma woman missing for five days this week was found safe Thursday.

Holly Sims’ family reported her missing Monday after she failed to return to her South Fernside Drive home after two days.

Sims, 54, has an undisclosed medical condition and requires medication.

Police considered her an endangered missing person and asked for the public’s help in finding her.

Sims was spotted at Sixth Avenue and North Mildred Street and appeared to be in good health and declined help, police said. A family member picked her up.
