UPDATE, 6:41 p.m. Sunday: Muy Chop was found safe in Tacoma, according to Tacoma police.

ORIGINAL POST: The Tacoma Police Department is looking for a missing person.

Muy Chop, 83, was last seen Friday morning around 8:30 when she left her son’s home to catch a bus in the area of East 59th Street and McKinley Avenue. She is Asian, 4-foot-11 with short, gray hair and brown eyes and speaks only Cambodian. She was last seen wearing a brown coat.

She does not have any life-threatening medical history nor does she take medications. She does not have a history of taking overnight trips and her family is concerned that she may need help and is unable to communicate.
