Missing Federal Way man found safe
UPDATE: AMBERAlert.com tweeted just after 9 p.m. Wednesday that the missing person advisory had been lifted and the subject was located safely.

Federal Way police later confirmed that at about 8 p.m. someone called 911 as a result of the Silver Alert and Herman Johnson was located by Des Moines police.
No further details were immediately available.
ORIGINAL POST: Police are trying to find a 90-year-old Federal Way man reported missing Wednesday evening from his home in the 2000 block of South 279th Place.
Herman Johnson was reported missing by his son, who said his father left home about 11 a.m. Wednesday in his car, a gray 2002 Kia Optima, license plate AFT 7242.
The son told police his father often goes to Celebration Park to read or to walk the soccer fields there, but has never been gone long.
Johnson is about 5-foot-11 and 140 pounds and was last seen in jeans, a lightweight tan jacket and a blue hat. His son said Johnson has balance issues and has lost some of his mental faculties.
