A brush fire Monday evening has burned an outbuilding on Key Peninsula and required mutual aid from as far away as East Pierce Fire and Rescue, Key Peninsula Fire Department posted on Facebook.

The fire is on 186th Avenue Key Peninsula North near Cornwall Road, according to Key Peninsula Fire.

Crews have secured a wet line around the fire and are putting out hot spots, the district said.
