Crews to close intersection at Stanich and Short streets Saturday

Stanich Avenue and Short Street will temporarily close Saturday (Oct. 22) for six hours so crews can remove a dead fir tree.

The closure will be at the corner that is the intersection between the two streets. The closure will be in place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some minor traffic control may exist after 2 p.m., but the road closure will not be in place outside of the scheduled time frame.

The work is weather-dependent, so there is a possibility of it being re-scheduled.

During the work, no vehicle or pedestrian access will be allowed through the work area.
