Landlubbers all along the shoreline of Gig Harbor bay had a ringside seat for the annual Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, Dec. 14, a tradition of the Gig Harbor Yacht Club for more than 40 years. This year’s parade was led by the Gig Harbor Police boat with Sgt. Jeffrey Martineau at the helm, and followed by 32 signed-up boats and about a dozen late arrivals, including at least seven lighted kayaks or paddle boards.
